All parents dread having a sick baby: the sleepless nights, the fussiness, we all know it, right? But there’s even worse! And that is having a sick baby who doesn’t want to take their medicine.
It’s not only a worrying situation trying to get the little one to take the required dose, it’s also frustrating!
Fortunately, this mom came up with a brilliant idea that could be the perfect hack for all parents.
Helena Lee shared the coolest trick to get her baby boy to take his medicine. Using a syringe that she covered with a rubber nipple from a bottle, she administered the necessary dose without spilling a drop!
As she said in her Facebook post, she tried multiple times using different techniques, but with no success. Every parent knows how much babies enjoy spitting out medicine, right?
This is the genius idea she had.
“FOR ALL MUMMIES…
So for the last 24hours ive struggled to get alfie to take calpol, he has ended up covered in half of it where he spits it at me……
Then i remembered seeing this trick..
Not 1 bit got wasted 👌👌 and no tears 👌👌”
Many parents replied that they had a similar idea many years ago with their kids, and the post went viral with more than 130 000 people sharing it, and surely lots of them found this tip helpful.
Some replied: “Whattt this would have saved a lot of tears!! And Tylenol!”
Others expressed their amazement on Twitter:
Wow this is revolutionary!
